British Airways’ Atlanta flights among cancellations due to pilot strike

British Airways is canceling nearly all of its flights, including its flights to Atlanta on Monday and Tuesday, due to a pilot strike.


The airline’s website shows its daily flights to Atlanta from London Heathrow are canceled Monday and Tuesday.British Airways says on its website that it “had no option but to cancel nearly 100 per cent” of its flights due to the pilots strike.


The airline said if you are traveling on British Airways on Monday Sept. 9 or Tuesday Sept. 10 and your flight is canceled, do not go to the airport.


Customers have the option to get full refunds or to rebook with another airline or on another date, according to the airline. British Airways says it is working with its partner airlines to schedule larger planes to take more customers. American Airlines is a British Airways partner.
